My Journey of Blessings
If you want to go far,
go together.
Hi, I'm Mico Prasetya.
An artist-illustrator-designer based on Jakarta, Indonesia.
Several years ago, I have the opportunity to work on some very interesting mural projects. Starting from being trusted to work on mural projects in my church, then I get to know other people and clients who need these services. At that time, I was working on some graphic design projects but I really enjoyed working on the murals and I developed it.
As years passed, I became more and more involved in mural and happy to be able to bless many people from it. But things have changed since the pandemic started to spread. Shops, restaurants, public places were closed so the need for murals were decreased. Then I was back to focus on graphic design.
In the middle of 2020, I began to be entrusted to make paintings for my church and I saw people were being blessed by it. From the church's worship nights that are broadcast online to make painting for personal and office, I started to see the positive impact of the online world.
"I can still bless people through online"
Until my friend introduced me to the NFT world, I became more convinced that through this digital world I could be more impactful and have a greater positive influence to many people out there. I pray that I can be an inspiration to others not only from my best artworks, but from the values I put into the artworks.
Believe you can,
and you’re half there.
Those incidents make me sure that God’s with me. He still have a way to make me a blessings and bless me. He reminded me to keep improving myself even when things looks hard. The difficulties can’t prevent me from creating artworks, no.. it can’t prevent God from creating miracles.
All of those experiences is God’s work, not mine. That’s what God taught me. That’s how God guide me, lead me, and process me to become a better person, just like HIM. HE maximize my talent and capabilities, more than I could imagine. That’s how HE blesses me. Not because of the earnings, the services, the places, but the real blessings is the relationships that I got from people I met. If I had precious stories to tell about God’s work in my life, I believe HE also arranged your stories perfectly.
God bless you!
If you want to go far,
go together.

Big journey starts
with small steps
Big journey starts
with small steps
My parents saw me that I love to draw when I was a kid.
They started to send me to a drawing course. Yeah, I failed a lot, I learned a lot, and I always thought my drawings wasn’t good enough.
That’s because I always compared myself to others. After learned and got some tips and tricks about drawings and paintings, I began to take part on drawing competitions.
Since then, I entered competitions almost every weekend of my primary school. I started to know what it’s like to win and lose, to be happy and cry, to be strong and feel weak. Then I tried to learn more to make my skills grow better. I got rivals, friends too, and knew a lot of people, knew how they trained, be cheated, acted jealously, etc. For several years I lived with it and finally I became a better version of myself. That’s what I thought about my skills and talent until then and desired to become the best I could.
Until finally I grew up from junior and senior high school, and entered my college’s life. The competitions began to decrease. Slowly I realized that, what I’ve been through, what I saw and thought all these years was wrong.
I met new people in high school and college, then I realized that there’re still many people who acted like people whom I met during the drawing competitions back then. There are still people who are not mature enough to face problems.
Finally I knew that the most important thing is not my skill nor my talent, it
was never about my hard skills, but it is all about soft skills. My attitude,
my manner, my behavior, how I react to problems, how I face a loss, how I
met people who are better than me, how I act when I win, etc.
It’s never about how great I could create an art.
It’s about how art could create me to become a better person.
It’s about how God use your talent or anything to train you, teach you and guide you to become a better man.
Start to realize how God use something in your life to process you.
Be thankful for that. Love it.
Because God loves you.

The struggle
is part of the story
